L.A.D. & Smt. R. P. College for Women, a premier Institute in central India started with a humble beginning in the year 1932 with the vision of renowned philanthropists to empower women from varied backgrounds to make them financially self-determined, socially cognizant, morally strong, resilient and emotionally balanced.
The college started initially only with Arts faculty and in a span of 92 glorious years has emerged as a multi faculty Institute offering XI, XII, Undergraduate, Postgraduate programmes and research centres too.

With the motto being ‘Compassion and Knowledge’, the Institution ensures a safe, secured learning environment to students equally giving opportunities to faculty members for their self-growth.

The college consecutively acquired ‘A’ grade in four cycles of NAAC, has shown the committed and highly qualified staff that encourage research, critical thinking, skills and vision of excellence to our student community.

National Education Policy has changed the scenario focusing more on innovation, skill, sports, culture, and ethics to be engrained in students. The college ensures to fit in the new mould and provide a collaborative, transparent and conducive environment that we help foster through our teaching-learning in the classroom, in the sports field and in our co-curricular space.
