Dr. Hema Gedam, Asso. Prof. Dept of Chemistry, initiated the work. Adopted Thaturwada Village , 70 km from Nagpur since 2007. Besides imparting best academic education LAD college takes pride in developing student’s personality in various dimensions. So, students are integral part of this project.

This initiative is to ,

• Imbibe sense of responsibility towards society on the young minds.
• To drive in them the real meaning of development through development of villages.
• This is also to create opportunities of developing associated businesses based on rural materials and to inculcate overall scientific awareness amongst rural masses.
