NATIONAL CONFERENCE AT L.A.D. ON NEW GUIDELINES FOR ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION

L A D and Smt. R P College for Women is organizing a day- long National Level NAAC Conference on the topic “ New Guidelines for Assessment and Accreditation” on 21 September 2019 at the Niyogi Hall at their Shankar Nagar Campus from 9.00 am onwards. The Conference enjoys full Academic support from NAAC, Bangalore. All Higher Education Institutions are in the process of preparing for accreditation from NAAC, according to the New Manual , brought into effect by NAAC from July 2017. The unique feature of this conference is that the invited resource persons are experts, IQAC coordinators, Principals from such colleges as have already undergone their fourth NAAC cycle according to the New Manual guidelines.

The LAD Conference therefore promises to be very valuable to all College and University teachers, providing them a platform to learn from the experience of those who have already undergone the process recently, and pose them their own situational questions.

The Keynote Address will focus on ‘New Guidelines of A and A’ and will be delivered by an expert from NAAC, Bangalore.

There will be special sessions on ‘DVV’,‘Governance’,‘Sharing Experience’, and a Panel Discussion on the Student Satisfaction Survey.

DVV session will be handled by DrP. N. Pabrekar, Senior Consultant to RUSA and will be chaired by DrUrmilaDabir, Principal, Kewalramani College.

DrRajlakshmiTripathi from Madhya Pradesh will speak on ‘Good Governance : Compulsory Ingredient for Quality Performance’

DrSushamaNarkhede , IQAC Coordinator of Institute of Science, will moderate the ‘Sharing Experience’ session where IQAC coordinators from Colleges in Mumbai and  Ratnagiriwill participate .

The Panel Discussion on SSS will be moderated by DrPoojaPathak, IQAC Coordinator of LAD College and the panelists are: Dr Dinesh Nair,Mumbai,

DrMadhaviSathe,Mumbai, Dr.Asha Susan Jacob, Cochin, and Dr V M Pendse, Nagpur.
